Combine the voice of Dusty Springfield or a female Michael Buble with the energy and stage presence of Tina Turner or Beyonce, and you get Catherine Holder. Originally an actress, from all over the east coast, she is influenced by the classics of Motown and Jazz, but is drawn to the sassy new lyricism of Amy Winehouse and Katy Perry. Her music is mostly a blend of R&B and rock, as heard on the high energy break-up song “Buh-Bye,” and her jazz influences show through songs like "Old Fashioned Romance." Her fan base is eclectic, ranging from wild-at-heart stay-at-home moms to the crazy young college students. Catherine's music, like Catherine herself, is sassy, sexy, and irresistible. Catherine is currently planning a tour across the US.
